Bag of Hammers was formed in 2012 by Luke McKern and Holly Sorensen. Having both been members of various projects together since 2008, this dynamic duo performs live music with looping technology pulling from a variety of genres to create layers of improvised instrumental and vocal grooves. Holly's powerful voice combined with Luke's instrumental prowess blends seamlessly into a groove driven dance party.

Luke plays electric guitar, bass guitar, keys, percussion, and electronic gadgets, all masterfully layered in live looping patterns when BoH plays. Luke is a music professor and well known in the region for his talents as a multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer.

Holly Marie is BoH's lead vocalist. She uses live looping to add vocal harmonies and textures and occasionally pulls out a ukulele, harmonica, or auxiliary percussion. Classically and unconventionally trained, she is ready to serve you a dose of any beloved genre.
